Got our ONE WAY tickets to Hawaii yesterday!
It's getting closer and closer. I believe we have our apartment picked out too. Right in the heart of Honolulu, adjacent to good ol' Waikiki beach! Best part is we have Walmart and Costco right by us to buy toilet paper in bulk (since I hear they run out some times).
So for everyone paying attention.....write this down. We will be leaving at 11:08am on Sunday, November 8th so come to the Delta gates and say goodbye!
And all you friends of ours are more than welcome to come down and stay with us....cheap ass vacation....just pay for plane tickets and get your haole ass down to the Aloha state!

This is Da' Kine...
Yesterday, October 14th was a life changing day for my wife and I. I accepted a position within my company.....a lateral move if you will. This is the best part: It is in the Kahala Mall. Where is the Kahala mall you ask? HONOLULU HAWAI'I!!!!!!

No one knows that I have set this blog up yet but it will be fun for them to see the chronicles of Ryan & Stacey as we move our lives from the mainland to the Aloha state.
This is more than just a transfer for work; this is us beginning a new material-free life together, a true "just the two of us" beginning. A very nice addition to our move however, is that my friend from junior high is stationed at Hickam Air Force base a few miles away.
So yesterday was the beginning of us becoming a Haole and slowly working up to a Kamaaina status. Stacey and I are leaving our old shells in the dust and going to grow our love even stronger like the amazing flowers that are indigenous to Hawai'i.
Wish us luck or hate us with envy but we'll be too busy enjoying sunshine and a relaxed lifestyle on an amazing island with amazing people.
We'll miss you all on the mainland but we know you true friends will come and visit.
